With the Boat Makers, rent your wooden boat (boat, barquette, baldequin or small Flemish escute) equipped with an electric motor. One of the best ways to discover the Saint-Omer marshes in the best conditions, with family, friends or lovers...
The electric motor, very handy, allows you to move forward at 6km/h (max) in silence. Ideal for enjoying the calm of nature, for listening to birdsong and not disturbing wildlife. The electric motor is, moreover, very ecological and respects the banks, the inhabitants of the marsh as well as the fishermen. The carrying capacity of our boats is 6 people. The marsh extending over 3700 hectares, a map with indications will be given to you so that you can fully appreciate the Audomarois marsh and its landscapes.
Depending on your preferences and available time, you can choose one of our two routes through the marsh, suitable for electric boats and canoes. You also have the option of renting a rowboat, a traditional flat-bottomed boat, or a small wooden boat equipped with oars for a shorter route. A more active option, but no less fun! Explore the maze of our rivers, discover the natural heritage, the built heritage, and the fields of the Saint-Omer marsh. Also discover the outskirts, the fauna and flora of this vast natural environment, a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Gliding silently on the water, rediscovering the marsh's flora and fauna, accompanied by Philippe's explanations and anecdotes, is pure bliss. And we were lucky enough to witness a sunset over the marsh, capturing magnificent images that we immortalized.
