The Audomarois Marsh: 13 Centuries of History. A book by Philippe Hudelle and Jérémie Flandrin

The child of Audomarois enthusiasts and the grandson of market gardeners, Jérémie spent his youth in the suburbs of Saint-Omer, near the Stackelwaert River (the Haut-Pont). He inherited, in keeping with oral tradition, a multitude of family stories evoking life in the past and that of his ancestors: the era of market gardening in bacôve, the "al'baguernette" cleaning, the consolidation of plots and the arrival of tractors... His childhood memories are also woven around this marsh that he cherishes so much: his first bike rides on the farm paths, the hours spent playing in his cousins' sheds, the boat caravans to join family reunions, the slides on the frozen canals and the nautical processions... The list is endless! A great fan of local history, Jérémie still lives by the water with his little family. He divides his daily life between the Faiseurs de Bateaux workshop and the editorial staff of the Audomarwouah magazine, to which he contributes.
