Les Piquinettes – Restaurant in Saint-Omer

Les piquinettes is the open-air restaurant of the Makers of Boats… Where you eat at the water's edge!

In the suburbs of Lyzel, in the heart of the marsh, the Piquinettes opens its doors to you

Les Faiseurs de Bateaux welcome you to an outdoor restaurant that could not be more atypical. On one side, the organic fields of our market gardener Loic Boulier. On the other, the shipyard and a nice river. Here and there, this green place is embellished with old market gardening tools, some of which are still in use.

There are also Flemish games, table football, a terrace made of oak planks like a guinguette at the water's edge... In short, a timeless and picturesque place that nevertheless exudes authenticity. Because here, nothing is decor, nothing is there to pretend. It is indeed the place of work and the place of life of a good part of the team… And as passionate about local traditions, we love to keep them going!

On the menu
What do we eat at Les Piquinettes?

On our menu, you will only find local products. Our suppliers and producers are all friends and we know how and with what products they work!

On the catering side, we offer Flemish carbonade, potjevleesch or chicken with three sauces to choose from (Maroilles, beer, forest). The fries come from Flanders, the side salad comes from the organic garden of Loic Boulier, our market gardener. The culinary preparations are prepared by “Tout en transparency”, a craftsman from Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem. It is also possible to order our vegetarian salad simmered by the same team.

On the bar side, we offer beer from the Abbey of Clairmarais, beers from the Brasserie Thiriez, Café Boulet, apple juice from Wallons-Cappel, lemonades from La Gosse (Liévin)… Everything is made in the Nord- Pas-de-Calais (well, except the Perrier!).
