A project developed by Guy Boulnois

Guy Boulnois is the son of market gardeners from Audomarois. It is therefore quite naturally that the world of plants aroused his interest from his childhood. With this passion, he undertook studies in Floriculture and Floral Art before exercising for nearly thirty years various functions in the inter-profession of the Garden (distribution and with production).

Now holder of the Professional Trainer for Adults certificate, he works with many companies in the Specialized Garden Distribution Networks as well as individuals in order to provide advice.

Another project had been tormenting him for a long time: to return to the Pays de Saint-Omer in order to rediscover his roots and his land while exercising his passion for gardening. This is what has been done with the creation of the Sauvagine Terre et Passion, a training center with a unique character in the region!

A unique and exotic place close to Saint-Omer

Installed in a former hunting and leisure area from the 1930s, La Sauvagine Terre et passion faces a superb pond surrounded by carefully landscaped plots of land: we find a greenhouse, an educational vegetable garden, trial gardens, several warm terraces, cozy little corners where you can relax... The Domaine de la Sauvagine Terre et Passion indeed offers total immersion in an environment conducive to reflection, sharing and above all escape.

Inside the traditional residence, everything is designed to get away from it all while enjoying maximum comfort, both personal and professional: fully fitted kitchen area, equipped meeting room, etc.

La Sauvagine Terre et Passion: services dedicated to companies and individuals

La Sauvagine Terre et Passion is a center for training, workshops and seminars, offering several types of services to companies and individuals. The common denominators: the garden, Culture, Art and well-being!

The Estate is open to everyone, all year round, by reservation and offers “à la carte” days of training and workshops in small groups of 6 to 12 people. On the program: natural life, garden development, natural market gardening, sophrology, team cohesion thanks to the teachings of nature, fishing, adaptation to the environment...

The site can also be privatized and can be adapted to all requests throughout the year (tailor-made corporate events, seminars, weddings, etc.).

• Arrival by bacôve (traditional Audomarois boat). Indeed, access to the Waterfowl Land and Passion domain being carried out by boat, the training session begins and ends with a guided tour of the Audomarois marshes in the company of enthusiasts (including the Boat Makers, of course – C' is where we come in! – as well as Le Brouckailler). The same is true for your workshops, your teambuilding sessions or your private events.
• A meal highlighting the local and seasonal gastronomic riches. A culinary pleasure created by chef Patrice Damide (Chef of Carré-Saint-Martin, winner of the Mercure d'Or).
• A la carte, small moments of relaxation and leisure such as a visit to the educational garden, wildlife observation, a game of wooden games and a good time at the bowling alley...

La Sauvagine Terre et Passion: a company recognized by UNESCO and member of the network of Eco-actors

As a guarantee of its preserved authenticity, La Sauvagine Terre et Passion received the "Audomarois marsh biosphere reserve" trophy from UNESCO in 2017. It rewards citizens and project leaders committed to the sustainable economic development of their territory. .
Guy Boulnois was recognized in this context for his project: “The Art of Cultivating Naturally”.

If the Audomarois marsh has been recognized as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO since 2013, Guy Boulnois is also recognized as Eco-Actor of this reserve because of his commitment to sustainable development: "sharing and transmitting the love of land, terroir and plants”… Just like the Boat Makers!
